CURATE // Color library

Color is something that we work with in every day, yet we often take for granted its availability. It wasn't so long ago that pigments to make certain colors were rare and expensive. Forever paying homage to this lost art is Harvard's Forbes pigment collection, where hundreds of pigments can be found on display.

The pigments on display here have been collected from vastly differing locations throughout history and represent a different way to understand the world.

You can view the library in its entirety online here. Want more information? Read more here.
