SOS // Holiday Events

SOS is doing the holidays right this year with a special event every weekend! Every Saturday from 3pm to 7pm we're cooking up something something special! Read on for more information on the events.

Extended holiday hours are happening! Through December, we will be open:
Monday - Thursday 10am to 6pm
Friday 10am to 9pm
Saturday 1pm to 9pm

It's an ornament painting party at the Son of a Sailor Studio! Come decorate a leather ornament SOS style to dress up your holiday tree! We'll provide leather ornaments in the shape of Texas or a sweet diamond shape as well as access to a selection of our extensive paint collection. You provide the creativity and walk away with one-of-a-kind works of art!

P.S. These little guys look great in a window, too. A friendly reminder, while we love kinds around the SOS studio, participation in the event requires constant adult supervision.

Local jam artisans, Confituras will be in the SOS studio with a curated selection of their sweet goods. Between hatch chile pepper jelly and Mexican plum butter, there's something yummy for everyone - and these make the perfect hostess presents!

Come shop handmade jams along side the SOS handmade goods. Enjoy a sip of Jampagne cocktails and have a bite or two of jammy biscuits.

Nothing goes together quite as well as calligraphy and cookies, right? Come get a fresh baked sweet treat while you're having a holiday card personalized live. Austin bakery Patika will be selling a selection of specially made yummy treats while local calligraphy artist Celeste King will be in studio personalizing holiday cards on the spot!
