SOS // What's in your bag, Mallory?

It's time for another round of "what's in your bag!" Today we'll be looking into Mallory's leather satchel. Read on to see what she loves about working at Son of a Sailor, and where she picked up her cutest purse items!

Q: How long have you been at Son of a Sailor?
A: I started apprenticing at SOS through Girls Guild in November of 2013 and then became an official team member in September of 2014.

Q: What do you do?
A: Most of the time my hands are full on the production side of things. Making cool stuff + working with such a talented team + the coolest bosses ever = my dream job.

Q: What's your favorite thing to make?
A: I'm loving making pieces from the new collection, STELA. I worked a lot with small scale metals in college, so I am really excited about using what I learned in the past combined with new methods and and tools to make our latest collection. I'm so psyched!

Q: Your bag contents have a great color scheme, very warm and laid back! Does this represent your favorite colors pretty well?
A: My purse contents could be seen as a microcosm of my entire life. I don't have a favorite color but I lean more towards neutrals with pops of color to make everyday more exciting.

Q: Where'd you get that precious wallet?? I know I asked you before but I forget!
A: The coin purse is from Scout & Catalogue and I'm also in love with it. My husband bought it for me after many obvious hints.

Q: Rank these in order of awesomeness: lindt truffles, andes mints, hershey's kiss, reese's.
A: Andes Mints > Hershey's Kiss > Lindt Truffles > Reese's (It's surprising how hard it is to find Andes Mints at any ol' HEB.)

Q: Cute notebooks! What do you use them for, and where are they from?
A: I ALWAYS carry a small journal with me to keep track of the bajillion ideas that run through my head all day. In these journals you will find sketches, lists, random thoughts, notes, and more. These particular journals are from Target.
