Clueless // The Dissolve

If you were a young female from 1995 on, there’s a VERY good chance that hearing Clueless immediately gives you flashbacks to a young Paul Rudd (and Brittany Murphy, RIP), Valley girls and an urge to say “You don’t understand. This is an Alaia!” The folks over at The Dissolve analyzed the movie with the dignity it deserves, because it is a great film after all.

8 Million Flower Petals Flooded The Streets of a Town in Costa Rica // Lost at E Minor

From the creators of the San Francisco bouncy ball explosion, Sony and ad agency McCann bring us another goosebump-inducing video. Eight million flower petals exploded in the streets of a Costa Rican town, and the shots from photographer Nick Meek are incredible.

Philippe Starck Creates Largest Single Mould Polycarbonate Collection // designboom

Designer Philippe Starck created a milestone collection for plastic contemporary furniture maker Kartell. A sofa named the “Uncle Jack” is the largest single-mould polycarbonate sofa. Starck said his inspiration came from the sofas his family had as a kid, with aunts and uncles sitting in front of the fire.
