after scoring a set of three wooden bangles at my local Saver’s ($3.99, y’all!) i knew that i had to have a little project time! i thought i’d take you guys along with me!
to make these colorblocked bracelets, you’ll need:
- bangle style bracelet(s)
- embroidery floss
- scissors
- krazy glue

1. using your first color, tie a double knot around the bangle

2. dab a bit of glue on the knot, making sure the knot is on the inside of the bangle

3. wrap the floss around the bangle (and the loose end of thread) tightly, to minimize movement and gaps.
4. after a few times around, trim the loose end and continue wrapping, hiding the end.

5. to change colors, simply tie the end of your new color to your current color, making sure knot will wrap to the inside of the bangle.

6. wrap the new color around the bangle (and loose end of your last color) once or twice and then dab a bit of glue on the knot.

7. repeat with different colors until you’re happy with the colors, and then tie your final color in a knot (again, on the inside of the bracelet) two times. dab a bit of glue on the final knot, trim, and you’re done!

8. rock accordingly.
